I AM SHARING THESE FOR YOU TO USE FOR PERSONAL GIFTS FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES. I DO REQUEST THAT YOU HONOR THE PRESUMED COPYRIGHT OF THESE CARDS AND DO NOT SELL THEM AT BOUTIQUES OR AUCTIONS. IF YOU WISH TO SELL THEM FOR CHARITABLE EVENTS SUCH AS BAZAARS WHERE PART OF THE PROFIT GOES FOR A GOOD CAUSE I'M OKAY WITH THAT.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY BLOG PAGE AND ABOVE ALL - ENJOY!Alexan44http://www.blogger.com/profile/12851965542693508283noreply@blogger.comBlogger18125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3659944523171198059.post-25170641587535535982013-04-25T13:10:00.000-05:002013-04-25T13:10:12.089-05:00It's been a few days for another card, but here's my latest. Papers are mostly Pixelscrapper and pattern is from SVGcuts.
Today the theme is Polka Dots. Here's my submission - kinda quirky but I love the colors.

While I was making the paper I remembered that years ago I uploaded 2 sets of brushes on Adobe Exchange. These brushes are line drawings of Missouri birds. I loved creating them but lost track of them as I changed out computers several times since 2003. Here's a sample of what a few of them look like.

If you'd like to have these brushes for Photoshop (they were created in PS 7 so I know they are pretty much compatible with all) you can find them on here. There are 79 birds included in the .abr file. Enjoy!Alexan44http://www.blogger.com/profile/12851965542693508283noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3659944523171198059.post-83538663674755115162013-03-27T13:13:00.000-05:002013-03-27T13:13:17.396-05:00I simply love SVGcuts ! This week they have the Maison Madeline collection as their special kit and I just fell head over heels for this rooster card. On the inside-"It's okay to be a little cocky! You're still a spring chicken!". Most of the papers are from Pixel Scrapper. Enjoy!

...but I'm back now. I've been playing with my my new Sizzix Eclipse since I got it a few weeks ago and have been having a blast. It's soooooo much better than my old faithful Cricut Expression (which I will probably use until it just dies) and I've learned about a wonderful new place called SVGcuts. Most of the papers that I use have been downloaded from Pixel Scrapper. If you've not been to either of these sites you have to check them out. I may never buy a piece of scrapbook paper again! I've been going wild making all kinds of birthday and holiday cards and such. Here's a few of my newest creations
I may get them all done by Christmas, but it's gonna be tight. This one's made with Christmas Cheer. On the inside: May your holiday season be filled with warmth and good cheer. Happy Holidays! Yep, this one is little more generic than some, but there are those out there who don't really celebrate Christmas the way I do. I've indeed done a couple of duplicates just because I'm so short on time, but I've changed the colors up a little and promised myself that I won't send one to someone too similar to one that I send to someone who knows that person and might share their cards with them. Did that make any sense at all? Anyway, went to the gun show in Springfield today and got me a new purse. I know, who goes to a gun show to buy a purse??!! Well, they are real leather and the one that I've been carrying (which I got a gun show 4 years ago) is starting to show signs of wear and by golly I just wanted one! The one thing that did impress me is that it seems that the economy isn't really affecting gun sales. There were thousands of people there! Hmmmmm...maybe it is related to the economy after all!

Back to the card. Made with Cricut Wildlife cartridge and Cuttlebug embossing folder. It takes me about 2 hours to make one card because I'm sooooooo critical of myself. At this pace I may be done by next Christmas. Thank goodness my card list is short! I'm lovin' the Wildlife cartridge from Cricut. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have the trout card done. Just started using Maya Mist last night and love it! It dries much faster than Glimmer Mist and seems to cover white a lot better. On the inside: Hope you have a very Beary Christmas and all your Christmas fishes come true. I find it amazing that it's the end of November and I actually picked 4 tomatoes out of my garden yesterday. I know it's over this week so I may as well resign myself to the "store-boughts" until next spring.
